At Hailey Auto Clinic, we have long been your source for accurate, fairly-priced auto repair in Hailey, ID, since 1997. But how did we get to where we are today? The shop was originally opened by Don Toussaint, who built it from the ground up to have one of the best reputations in town.
In 2008, Alex Dunn purchased the Hailey Auto Clinic from Mr. Toussaint. Alex grew up around auto repair, as his grandfather and uncle both owned auto repair shops in town. In fact, Alex made up his mind he wanted to fix cars around the age of 7! So when the time was right to purchase Hailey Auto Clinic, Alex simply could not pass up the opportunity.
In 2013, Alex hired Samantha Davis. She was brought on board as a service manager and quickly became the backbone of the entire company. We couldn’t do what we do without Samantha!
In 2019 Alex built the Main Street location. His inspiration for the design comes from the early art deco shops that were his favorites growing up. Shortly after due to the increase in business Alex opened up a second location on Woodside blvd to help take care of customers and reduce downtime. He resides in Hailey with his wife, Melanie, and their five children, Finn, Summit, Ada, Waylen, and Wyatt. When we say Haily Auto Clinic is family-owned and operated, we mean it!
